Simple Plan pop punk band known as the origin of Montréal, Québec, Canada. Since its initial formation, the band has never experienced a change of personnel. The band fronted Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing singers), Chuck Comeau (drums), and David Desrosiers (bass, backing singers) is, so far has released 4 studio albums : NO PADS, NO HELMETS ... JUST BALLS (2002), STILL NOT GETTING ANY ... (2004), SIMPLE PLAN (2008), and GET YOUR HEART ON! (2011). Prior to the establishment Simple Plan, initially some personnel this band formed a band called Reset. But with the changing personnel in the course of their musical career, eventually forming Simple Plan.
The band was asked to help nonprofit and advocacy groups by making a donation through organizations that have been established, such as the MTV Asia Aid benefit, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), Radd (Recording Artists, Actors, and Athletes against Drunk Driving), and Make-A-Wish Foundation. But unfortunately, they feel that the flow of money in the organization lacks transparency. Finally they themselves establish Simple Plan Foundation, a foundation that focuses on teen problems ranging from suicide to poverty desires, as well as those who are addicted to narcotics. On December 9, 2005, the foundation has raised more than $ 100,000.
CAREER
In March 2002, Simple Plan released their first studio album, NO PADS, NO HELMETS ... JUST BALLS, followed by the release of singles: I'm Just a Kid, I'd Do Anything, Addicted and Perfect.
In this album there is a song that features vocals by Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) in the song I'd Do Anything, and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) in the song You Do not Mean Anything. Not only working with two artists that, Simple Plan also could be opening for Avril Lavigne concert in 2003. And also the opening act for Green Day and Good Charlotte.
In October 2004, Simple Plan released their second album titled STILL NOT GETTING ANY ..., followed by the singles Welcome to My Life, Shut Up!, Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?), And Crazy. Simple Plan released their third album SIMPLE PLAN in 2008, with the first single When I'm Gone. Later, their fourth album titled GET YOUR HEART ON! released on June 21, 2011. Two of the album was produced by Brian Howes.
In early 2012, Simple Plan come to Indonesia for a tour of their fourth album. Arrival Simple Plan to Indonesia could be considered quite special because this time they not only visited Jakarta on January 17, 2012. They will also visit Surabaya on February 18, 2012.
