Biography of Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman was born with the first name Uma Karuna Thurman in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, 29 April 1970. He is known as an actress known for her role as Mia Wallace in the film directed by Quentin Tarantino, Pulp Fiction (1994).

His role became increasingly popular after acting as Cécile de Volanges in the film Dangerous Liaisons (1988) and also her role as Irene Cassini in the film Gattaca (1998).

Thurman debut as a star of pangung model since the age of 16 and then began playing in movies in 1988, by starring in four movies in a single year. Among the films, JOHNNY BE GOOD, KISS DADDY GOODNIGHT, Dangerous Liaisons and THE ADVENTURES OF BARON Munchausen. Even managed to get the box office, the film was deemed a failure, because the cost of making too big.

Next Thurman role as June Miller in the TV series HENRY & JUNE (1990). The film became one of the successful films, before starring in Pulp Fiction (1994), BATMAN AND ROBIN (1997), Kill Bill (2003) and The Producers (2005).

While related to personal life-winner for Best Supporting Actress Academy Awards through Pulp Fiction (1994) were first dating director Phil Joanou. At STATE OF GRACE starring himself reunited with Gary Oldman and then proceed to the altar, yet they eventually divorced in 1992. In 1998, he was then married to Ethan Hawke, but even then her marriage ended in divorce.
