Isla Lang Fisher is known as an actress and writer from Australia. She made her acting debut on Australian television, for her role in the soap opera Paradise Beach. After that he also played as Shannon Reed on the soap opera Home and Away. She is best known for his role as a comedian in Wedding Crashers, Hot Rod, Definitely Maybe, and Confessions of a Shopaholic.

CAREER

She began her career since she was 9 years old starring in several television advertisements in Australia, before starring in the children's show Bay City and Paradise Beach. At the age of 18, with the help of her mother, she published two teen novels, Bewitched and Seduced by Fame. From the year 1994-1997, he played the role of Shannon Reed on the Australian soap opera "Home and Away". In 1996, he won the "Logie" as the "Most Popular Actress". After leaving the soap opera stages, Fisher entered L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, an art school in Paris and began to appear in pantomime in the UK. He also toured with Darren Day in the musical Summer Holiday and appeared in the London Theatre Production "Cosi". In 2002, he took part in the film version of Scooby-Doo as Mary Jane. The following year she played the character as Kristy the Australian comedy "The Wabbabes". After Fisher was invited to work with U.S. agencies. Her role in Wedding Crashers with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in 2005 won him an award at the MTV Movie Awards.

In 2006, Fisher served as Becca in London drama which also features Jessica Biel, Chris Evans, and Jason Statham. He played as Katie in the romantic comedy Wedding Daze with Jason Biggs. In 2008, he starred in the fim "Definetely, Maybe" with Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz, and Abigail Breslin. Fisher also starred in the film adaptation of the novel Confessions of a Shopaholic which launched on February 13, 2009. In this role she was awarded a Teen Choice Award.
